You'll leave this workshop with a fully bound and prepared journal all set and ready for journaling. Most everything you'll need to build this charming journal is supplied in your accompanying kit including vintage bark cloth, paints, papers, Elmer's glue or paper mache paste. If you like, you can bring your own paint and papers to personalize your journal. This light weight, yet very sturdy, little (5" X 7 1/2") journal is simple in materials, design and construction. Once you learn the tricks, this will surely become one of your favorite journal construction methods as it is very easy to adapt to any size or number of pages. You'll be supplied with a vintage piece of Bark Cloth to cover your journal and have use of matching paints to tie the whole journal together. You need bring only a few basic materials that you probably already have at home.
You will be supplied with -
- 8 pre cut foam core pages
- Vintage Bark Cloth to cover your journal
- Tyvek for hinging pages
- Paper mache paste or Elmer's Glue
- Book pages
- Use of additional materials - foam stamps, paints, page spacers
Please bring-
- Alene's Tacky Glue
- 1" natural bristol brush
- Bone Folder (if you have)
- Small container of off white craft paint
- If you like, you can bring your own paint and papers to personalize your journal. If you are adding other paper images they must be no thicker than standard printer paper .
