The Bee's Wax Journal!
We’ll be honoring the hardworking honey bee through the making of this unique journal.  The combination of beeswax (the scent alone is absolutely intoxicating!), vintage fabric, and the shabby, grungy aesthetic are both charming and intriguing. Plus, we’ll be adding pockets and tags to make it even more fun and interactive.  All the templates are provided to simplify construction and you’re provided with collage sheets and additional elements. Since working with melted bee’s wax can prove to be challenging, you will be supplied with wax coated papers to work with or you can create your own with supplies provided.
There are lots of templates to work from or create your own patterns.
The finished journal size is 6”  X  8”.
 
You will be supplied with -
- Bee's Wax Cover and fabric lining
- Binding thread
- Assorted papers for pages
- Bee's wax coated papers
- 3 bee related collage sheets and additional elements
- Use of sewing machines
 
Please bring -
- A few colors of paint (small craft paint jars are fine), including our favorite Quint Gold
- 1/2" or 1" brush
- Black embroidery or crochet thread
- Distressed ink pads and dabbers if you have, or we can share
- Any other images or elements you'd like to include in your journal
 
Please bring a sack lunch.
