Book of Enzo 11-17-24 Sunday 10am-4pm
The Enso is a sacred symbol in Zen Buddhism meaning circle, or sometimes, circle of togetherness. The Enso is a manifestation of the artist at the moment of creation and the acceptance of our innermost self. It symbolizes strength, elegance, and one-mindedness. This is an experimental collaborative of mark making and journal building. Everyone will start with a 12 foot roll of paper that is worked on by others in class. We’ll use a selection of mark making techniques, construct our book and add The Enso symbol. The finished journal size is 6 1/2” X 6 1/2”.
