Hi Tom, Well this should work, at least you'll get an idea, click the images to enlarge
Emerg brake release
cable, you dont have to
cable block it, i just did
it because i wasnt sure
These are the trim
pieces that have to be
removed
Shot of the left side
Shot of the right side
Cluster removed, on the
bench, protective back
plate
Cluster removed,
putting this plug back
on is the hardest part of
the job, long fingers help
I resoldered both pins that had black wires
going to them from the plug (i wish i would
have marked them) but you can tell from
the plug very easily
Backside of this red plug
connector in the middle
is the culprit
Tried to scan and send the text but not working, suggest investing $25.00 or $29.00 (cant remember) for a 1 year subscription to
AllData.com, all years after that is only $14.00, it is a site that has all the manuals, wiring diag's, etc for your vehicle, the fee covers
one vehicle but you of course can have more, it has all the detail info of taking the cluster out as well as everything else about your
car, well worth the fees if you work on your cars! The manuals you can buy at the auto parts stores dont even hold a candle to
their site, talk to you soon, bob
